On this day.

On this day we think about many things. We think about our ancestors and how at one time they walked this land we call Ndakinna in peace. The terrorists had not yet arrived and they were free. When I decided to become director of Ndakinna, I knew this would be a great undertaking. I knew the obstacles before me. Well, maybe not all the obstacles. Yet, the path was placed before me and I had no other choice than to walk it.

My father's family was Abenaki from Mass. originally, but escaped to Quebec,Canada after King Phillip's War.
